Vinyasa classes taught by Nicoal are a purifying blend of compassion and challenge, where we will explore the many facets of meditation, asana and Pranayama to cleanse, restore, and center. This practice draws from several yoga disciplines to bring about a balance in your practice. Such practices include Hatha, yin, and vinyasa. All students are welcome and no prior yoga experience is required. Modifications are provided for students looking to advance their practice.


 

Gentle yoga classes taught by Nicoal are great for beginners, first time yogis, or anyone who may have physical limitations. Explore breath, body, and movement together for a practice focused on the felt-sense experience and exploring yoga with a childlike curiosity. In this class, we will use props such as blankets, blocks, and straps to help our bodies fully relax and soften into each shape.

Yin Yoga is a meditative yoga practice that is slow-moving and close to the ground. In a Yin Yoga class, we will typically hold poses for 3-5 minutes such as wide-knee child’s pose or seated forward fold, allowing you to immerse in your breath, completely relax into the shape, and explore the “felt-sense” experience of  yoga. Yin Yoga reaches down deep into the connective tissues and inner organs and helps to nourish and awaken the subtle energy body (chi). In this class, we use props such as blankets, blocks, and straps to help our bodies fully relax and soften. This class is great for beginners and those who are looking for a gentle, relaxing, and stretchy practice. All students are welcome and no prior yoga experience is required.
